Bhagur - Savarkar Wada

Around and in Nashik ( Maharashtra State, India) there are many tourist spots. Some of them are of religious importance, some are famous in trekking community, some are of archaeological importance and some are wineries.  There is one spot which has none of these and still people from all over India want to visit it. It is Bhagur. It is a small village on the bank of river Darana near Nashik. From Nashik city it is around 17-18 kms. From Nasik Road railway station it is at 8 kms distance.  If you are going by road from Nashik, you will have to cross the beautiful Deolali military campus. Fenqi Hu/ Fenchihu was originally developed in the early 19th Century as a stop of Alishan Forest Train between Alishan and Chiyayi. It was used as a fuel refill center or loading center.  It is a small town situated on mountain slope and is at 1400 meter height from sea level. It is now famous for the old street.
