Luang Prabang town is a very laid back town. You may feel that you are in the 1970s. The slow motion of life, less crowded roads, cultural richness, the architecture and spirituality in the atmosphere, good natured people and natural beauty of the place make Luang Prabang a very special town. We enjoyed the leisurely walk in the old town part. Actually the meaning of the name Luang Prabang itself is a Royal Buddha image. The Buddhist temples and monks give a sense of serenity to the town.
